Rug by Marion Rowen is part of Georgia's State Art Collection. According to Rowen, "This screen reveals my interest in textured fabric surfaces---frayed tapestries, molas, crocheting, quilts, even sewing cards--because they are memory evoking, intricate, and, I feel, add another dimension to contemporary painting." Oil, 36 x 72 inches
