Cameron  Covert, born in 1946, is a clay artist based in Carrollton. He graduated with master’s degrees from both Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. His career spans several decades and continents, and he has exhibited work in dozens of shows.

Covert taught at the State University of West Georgia (later University of West Georgia) for thirty-five years before retiring in 2005. His pottery works Vase and Zinc Crystalline Vase are part of Georgia’s State Art Collection.
