Zachariah Augustus Anderson II was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Atlanta. His work was shown in the inaugural National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta and is in the permanent collection of Atlanta’s High Museum of Art. His acrylic painting Unity of Man (1977) is part of Georgia’s State Art Collection.
