Steven I. Steinman  attended the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence and the Pratt Institute in New York City before moving to Atlanta in 1979. His piece Endless Journey, a textured wall sculpture the length of two football fields, covers the walls of the Buckhead MARTA station.
